The Irving Austin Business District hosted it’s Annual Scavenger Hunt 2018.

This event started at 10am where participants began either at Perkolator or Collective on opposite sides of Irving Park Rd. They then went into participating 13 businesses, read 3 clues, and snapped pictures of 2 of the 3 items in the clues.  They then presented the pictures to the proprietors of the business to receive a pin.

Once Pins were collected from 10 participating businesses, participants were entered into a raffle to win 3 prize baskets loaded with local prizes.

The participating businesses were:

Perkolator Coffee / Sputnik Books & Records
Shorty Styles / Bistro 6050

Midwest Buy & Sell / Thrif ‘N Thrive

Penthouse Hairstyling / Kasia’s Bridal
Dahlia Blooms / Charlie Noble
Photobooth Printz / Scary Perry’s Halloween Store

Collective / Tea’se Tea Shoppe

After a long day of Scavenging 3 emerged victorious:

Emily Wagner – Won the Collective & Tea’s Tea Shop Gift Basket
Emma Byall  – Won the Coffee Basket from Perkolator
George Marinoff – Won the Music Basket from Thrift & Thrive and Sputnik Basket

If you didn’t get a chance to participate you are in luck!
